In Return..

Okay so, I’ve been away in Amsterdam and I’ve had my week and a bit off now. Time to get back into things!

I’m going to spend a couple of days getting everything back on track, getting back into a routine and posting all that stuff I mentioned!

My backlog of sketchbook pages and life drawing have been waiting to be uploaded, my work for my Grimm’s Fairy Tales project will be returned soon. I need to post my results from Amsterdam, as well as those drawings I did on my day out to Plantasia.

I need to get started on some more watercolour portraits, video game related art works and any other personal work I want to create!

I’m still breaking in my Intuos 5, going to see what I can do with that. Writing and drawing my next comic on loadgame over the weekend to be uploaded on Wednesday. the newest issue can be seen here http://www.loadgame.co.uk/index.php/component/k2/item/213-comic-3-in-preparation

Adventure!

Hello there, just droping in to let you know whats happening over the next week here on my blog.

I’m going on a holiday (as well as a uni trip) to Amsterdam! I plan to take many photos and upload the relevant ones here to the blog. I’m going to travel around, sight see and visit galleries and museums.

I am taking a sketchbook and have decided I will try to upload at least one drawing a day while I’m out there.

Upon my return I have a few things coming up. I recently bought a Wacom Large Intuos 5 tablet, which will be used a lot once I receive it. This should help my comic artwork as well as my practice with drawing in photoshop.

I also will be producing those game related artworks I mentioned, and practicing my watercolour and anatomy skills also.

I hope the weather is fine where I am about to venture, hopefully I can learn something while I am gone too. As always keep practicing and stay positive about your work!

Time to get back to work.

Hello there, just dropping in to let anyone who still views this page that I haven’t posted in a long time because of a few things. One I have recently moved house, and have been settling in. I also got myself a job! My very first and I am enjoying it, even though it is very tiring. But what is a job without it being a bit of  hard work? 

The job is to try and give myself some kind of discipline again, also the extra money will help out a great deal as I won’t need to worry as much. I’ve settled in to my new house now and have much more space to spread my wings in which is a bonus!

University is as busy as always and projects are continuing to unfortunately be a second thought, especially lately with all this change that has happened. This should not be the case however, and now I have the time and space I want to really get established and keep a good work ethic going.

Hopefully I can continue with success, wish me luck and as always keep practising and keep positive about your work!
